Winter Sabbatical

I just wanted to let you all know that I’ll be taking a winter sabbatical for the next two months, as I need to focus my time and energy on my non-digital life at the moment.

What I’ll be doing:
* Posting the Real Life Minimalists feature each Monday, and moderating comments
* Responding as best I can to press emails and interview requests

What I won’t be doing:
* Writing the weekly posts that I typically publish on Thursdays
* Tweeting
* Responding to general inquiry emails

If you’re visiting my blog for the first time, welcome! I may be on sabbatical, but there’s over two years of posts here for your reading pleasure (see the right sidebar for specific categories or the monthly archives). For those who prefer to read them on a Kindle, PC, or other device (and have a copy for posterity), I’ve compiled the best of them into a $0.99 ebook available through Amazon.

If you’re looking for a comprehensive (and fun!) guide to decluttering, I think you’ll enjoy my book, The Joy of Less, A Minimalist Living Guide: How to Declutter, Organize, and Simplify Your Life. It’s sold over 25,000 copies, and was named to Amazon.com’s Best Books of 2010.

My apologies that I have to take a temporary leave, but I thank you for understanding that I must prioritize other aspects of my life right now. However, don’t forget to check in for the Real Life Minimalists stories each Monday; I have some great ones scheduled for the next few months, and think you’ll find much inspiration in them.

I look forward to continuing our minimalist journey together when I return!
