Jack, one of my readers, recently emailed me a link to this “Absolutely Fabulous” clip on YouTube — and I just had to share it with the rest of you! It’s a wonderfully-humorous take on ultraminimalism, and a great reminder not to take ourselves too seriously. 
I can only imagine what Edina and Patsy would think of my spare, white apartment!
Edited to add: my favorite part is when Max (after careful consideration) places the wine on the floor, and Bettina ever-so-slightly shakes her head “no” — mainly because I can totally see myself doing the same.

Ab Fabs last special is called ‘White Box’. Where that couple redecorates Edina’s house. Of course, it’s all white, a small firepit for cooking but no stairs to get to the kitchen. Very funny.
What a hoot. I do think the chimes hanging all over were a bit much. Too crowded don’t ya know. Grin.

Just found your website from Rowdy Kittens. I loved that episode of Ab Fab. They went from minimalism to being overwhelmed with baby raising stuff and v.v. stressed. BTW, I own all the ab fab episodes on VHS of all things. This post has inspired me to get rid of them.
Loved that show. I used to own the dvd set, but sold it. (I can get the discs through Netflix if I want to see them again!
